If you’ve ever gotten up in the morning and you could not get yourself going… this email is going to music to your mind and body.
Psycho-Cybernetics is not just about the inner workings of your mind, how to improve your self-image, and how to set and achieve goals.
It is also about “moving” your body when your mind is out of whack. And how sometimes, getting a move on is the best thing you can do to blow off steam, de-stress and take control of your emotional state. It’s about using your body to access deeper levels of your mind.
One of my long-time friends, himself a master of creating his ideal world, once told me that he could only remember waking up feeling good about five times in his whole life. Yet, every time anyone saw this man, he was happy, productive and resourceful.
How could that be?
Well, just because he wakes up in a less-than-happy emotional state doesn’t mean he is doomed to stay there.
What’s the man do?
He gets up and begins moving his body. He begins with small movements for his joints to get his blood flowing. He focuses on his breath as he moves. And then he begins working on other exercises that immediately give his brain and nervous system the “juice” and the “reset” that it needs to feel happy and get things done.
ONLY after he has moved his body does he sit in a chair to visualize. He gets everything pumping and flowing first, then he pictures what he is going to get done today.
At the end of each day, he expresses gratitude and appreciation for what he got done and he feels exhilarated.
The next day this man repeats this same process. He doesn’t exercise in exactly the same way each day. He varies it somewhat, and that is also part of his body-mind activation secret.
