Have you ever had the experience of writing out a list of ALL your goals, especially the BIG ones where you stretched your mind to think without any limits?
If so, how’d this process turn out?
If your results weren’t so good, ask yourself, “Have you ever achieved a big goal that you did NOT put in writing?”
In my investigations, I have found that people who say, “I don’t need to write my goal down because I know what it is and I’m not going to forget it…” are almost always correct.
When it comes to the goal you CANNOT get out of your head, chances are there’s no need to write it down because your subconscious mind is already activated and working to help your bring it into reality.
With this type of goal, there’s also no need to speak about it, to anyone, especially if you want to make sure it gets completed. The only exception would be a mentor.
A goal that consumes your mind has YOU, you don’t IT. This type of goal is in your mind, your heart, and every fiber of your being. To write it down can dilute the process of achieving it. Again, so does talking about it.
As for the goals that DON’T have you by the heart strings, yes, we are prone to forget them, so it’s a good idea to put them in writing and review them often.
Let me know if what I have written here resonates with you, based upon your experiences.
Here endeth today’s lesson.
