This past weekend I had a seminar with a group of men in Kalispell, Montana.
Part of what I was teaching were exercises that give you a brain-body reset. Many of them involved positioning your body in specific ways that make you feel energized, happy and confident, even though you’re not necessarily thinking about any of them.
This is what I call physical-cybernetics. When you sit, stand and move in a structured way, good feelings arise naturally.
Same goes for good experiences.
People respond to you differently, giving you better results with less effort.
When the training was finished, over and over I heard attendees say, “This was the reset I needed.”
Every day we have an opportunity for a grand reset, to relax and focus our minds on an objective that we turn into reality.
Every day we have an opportunity to create a result we envision.
And every day we can observe the results of working the process.
Last June, when I got home from a different brain-body reset, I got to work on creating the seminar I just completed. I envisioned it in my mind, then made it happen by taking action. I didn’t just sit around visualizing and hoping everything would work out.
You see what you want in your mind’s eye, then you get to work in such a way that you don’t feel as though you’re trying. In fact, if you feel that you are “trying,” you’re missing the boat. Yes, you put forth effort, but ultimately, effortless effort is what gets the job done.
In August I published my latest book, One Breath at a Time, using the same process.
One reader sent me the following note a few hours ago:
Hi Matt,
When I was thinking about ordering One Breath At A Time, one of my thoughts was wow, $69 for a book?
I’m glad I trusted my gut and ordered it. I just read it for the 1st time and I can tell you that it has changed my life for the better.
I will continue to read it over and over again, a few pages each morning when I wake up and at night before bed.
I look forward to incorporating the ideas into my life!
A big fan,
John R.
Thank you, John. I’m happy for you. Keep me posted on your progress.
Well, my wife and I have a few more places to visit. I’ll check back in with you as soon as I can.

See it. Feel it. Be it.
