Q: Why do you and Dr. Maltz advocate reviewing previous successes? Isn’t it better to just move on and focus on the next thing?
A: Moving onto the next goal without taking time to appreciate what you accomplished is the same as never stopping to smell the flowers or refusing the savor your favorite food. You’re living and moving, but without all the senses being activated.
When you express appreciation and gratitude you connect to the Creator and strengthen the creative process. When you relive a previous success experience, no matter how seemingly insignificant (such as the first time you tied your shoes) before you visualize you are practicing gratitude even though it is not explicitly stated as such in Psycho-Cybernetics.
Gratitude and appreciation increase your vibration. It puts rocket fuel into your tank.
