Where I Like to Go in a Crisis

Dear Friend,

All of us face difficult decisions. Whenever I face a particularly tough decision, I go to the beach.

It's a beautiful beach. It's warm, and there is a soft breeze blowing. I'm floating on a raft a short distance from the shore, and I'm flying. I'm flying circles around the gulls, and I am riding the currents high in the perfect sky.

This is my place, my theatre, my movie. This is where I go to relax. And I've done this in the car, (not while driving), on planes, in hotels, and right at my desk. It's exhilarating, and relaxing.

When I return to that difficult decision ... I make it. I make it in a calm, rational manner. And I go on with whatever comes next.
