How Do You Know?

Thursday, June 11th, 2009

So this morning I walk into my favorite coffee bar on Hainan Island that has a great Wi-Fi connection.

The waitress begins to escort me to a private room, walking ahead of me with a menu and remote control for the air conditioner. I’ve known her for a few years – and our conversation has always been nothing more than me ordering food and beverage.

Today, though, as she’s walking ahead of me I notice something different about her energy field. Without giving much thought about what I’m about to say, I blurt out, “Suoyi, ni jiehun le ma.” Translation: So, you got married.

She smiles and immediately replies: “Jie le.” I got married.

I smile. Then she asks: “How did you know?”

“Don’t know,” I reply.

It’s funny when this happens. And I absolutely believe the more time you spend doing exercises like Theatre of the Mind, the more often this sort of thing happens.

Like yesterday, I’m getting massaged by a lady I haven’t had work on me for a couple years. Despite only being 100 pounds, she can tear me limb from limb and toss into the air and slam me back down while laughing the entire time.

Well, yesterday she’s working on my shoulder. I’m lying there with my eyes closed, totally lost in “no thought.” Then all of sudden I open my eyes and say, “Suoyi, ni you yi ge xiaohai ma?” So, you have a young child.

She smiles and says, “Shi de, yi ge nuer. Ta yi sui.” Yes, a young girl. She’s one year old.

“Congratulations,” I said.

“Thank you. How did you know?”

“Don’t know.”

If by chance you’re impressed by these accounts, don’t be impressed. Instead, be inspired.

Why? Because you can do the same. Anyone can.

All you have to do is change the way you breathe, improve the way you navigate and move through life and be willing to practice the sort of visualizations I teach on a regular basis. If you’ll do this, then a whole new universe will open up to you.

Naturally, you may be more interested in how this sort of skill works in the business whirled (yes, I spelled dhat wrogn on poirpoise).

Well, it most certainly does. Figuring out a way to put more change in your wallet or purse is not difficult. In fact, I can teach you over a hundred ways in less than a half-hour.

Once you know the ways, then all you have to do is practice for a spell each day. And as you practice you begin to pick up on vibrations of thought that lead you to the objective you have in mind.

What’s more – others pick up on your vibration – so don’t be surprised in the least if someone seems to be following you from behind with an opportunity that’ll resonate with you.

It happens all the time, everyday. It’s simply a matter of whether or not your energy field is open or closed.

If you’re open, you can expect surprises on a regular basis. You can expect to follow crazy hunches and be right. You can expect to act in ways you don’t understand and they’ll be correct. You can expect to blurt things out of your mouth, without thinking, then be elated with what you just heard.

Oh, YES.

Make sure you are reading and listening to 101 Ways to Magnetize Money.

With a copy of the book on your night stand (or beside the toilet) you are assured of constant reinforcement of what works.

And with the CDs playing in your car as you drive around town, aaaah, the ideas will be popping into your noggin at the speed of light.

Wooooh.

Faithfully,

Matt Furey

Give Yourself a Clean Slate

Wednesday, June 10th, 2009

This morning I was getting a bite to eat at a restaurant. The waitress came by my table and muttered something in a tone I couldn’t quite hear. As she’s waited on me many times before, I said, ‘Huh?’

‘New day, same old shit,’ she said. Then she pushed her index finger in a downward manner, as if pressing a rewind button. She even said, ‘Everyday is like a recording.’

I smiled and said, ‘Naaaah.’

This brightened her day a bit – even though I really wasn’t responding in a way that agreed or disagreed.

Truth is I DO agree with her. SHE is reliving each day as if it’s the same. Yet, when I go to the same restaurant and am waited on by her, each instance is totally new to me. Even if I order the same food, it’s still new. I don’t bring the same old Matt to the table each day. I bring a NEW Matt, someone with fresh aspirations, inspiration and ideas.

One of the biggest reasons why people have trouble succeeding is simple: They won’t let go of their past.

Instead, they recall, relive and dwell on all the negatives.

Negatives like:

Previous failures
Negative opinions of others
Their own fears and self-doubts

All of these negatives are like old chalk left on a blackboard. It can be removed by simply taking out an eraser and wiping the slate clean. But this is only going to happen when you are willing to do so.

In order to rise above the old chalk, though, you must do MORE than wipe the slate clean though. You must also give yourself NEW instructions.

These new instructions are no different than the other words you would read on a blackboard or computer screen – with ONE major distinction. These words are positive. They are pure and powerful. And they’re designed to take you where you want to go in life. They’re are not designed to keep you stuck in the past.

There is a time and place to recall the past – but it’s the positive past that needs to be recalled most of the time; the past that, when focused upon, causes you to create MORE success experiences.

Each night, before I go to bed, I make sure I wipe my slate clean of mistakes, failures and setbacks. I wipe the slate clean even if I think it doesn’t need it – because I know that forgetting to do so makes for a slate filled with notes that someone else placed on the board. Don’t let anyone put notes on your board, yourself included, unless they are leading to the fulfillment of your goal.

As a member of the Psycho-Cybernetics Success Group, each month I send you a Success Scroll that contains powerful, positive and success generating instructions for your mind to follow. I also include a Success Questions card that you can carry with you during the day.

You’re going to want to make sure you get these each month, along with the newsletter and Amazing Meditations CD.

Go here and get on board with us.

Best,

Why are You Doing This (or that)?

Tuesday, June 9th, 2009

Yesterday I was out training in the early morning with my son. We’re currently at our summer home here on Hainan Island in China – and at 7 a.m. the air is already dripping humidity, with or without the sun. So believe me when I tell you, It doesn’t take much for my clothes to be sopping wet.

As you can imagine, I get up at six, wake my son to do likewise, and after we shower and get dressed – we go outdoors to get sweaty so we can shower yet again.

Each day we go through an array of psycho-physical exercises. Many are always the same – but we change a few around each day to keep life interesting.

Before each workout and before each exercise, I ask myself a simple question that focuses my energy. And yesterday I hit my son with this question and it stopped him in his tracks. It made him think. It made him realize that everything you do in life, even if it looks the same, can be changed into something MORE via a change in how you think about what you’re doing.

Okay, what was the question I asked my son?

Real simple: “Why are you doing this exercise?”

It’s not a trick question; nor a stupid one. And you could state it in any number of ways: “What do you want? What is your intention?” And so on.

For a 9-year old, I think “Why are you doing this? (or that) is pretty doggone clear.

And whatever his answer, or mine, or yours, to this question, regardless of the activity – changes the result you will experience.

Why are you doing what you’re doing right now?

Why are you reading this?

No matter your answer, your mind will direct you toward what you’re seeking.

If you’re reading to discover an idea that’ll bring financial gain, you’ll find it if that’s why you’re reading this.

If you’re reading to solve a relationship riddle, or to improve your communications with someone else – or to figure out how to be a better writer (yes, I humor myself from time to time), then you’ll be led to the answer.

Where does the answer come from then?

Not from me. Not from my words.

It comes from YOU being willing to ask the question.

Will you?

If not, I will for you. Why are you doing this? Or that?

Matt Furey

P.S. If you read and listen to 101 Ways to Magnetize Money with the intention of financial gain, or finding a job, or starting a new career – how could you go wrong? You will find the answers you’re looking for.

What’s Your Goal for Today?

Monday, June 8th, 2009

One of the first things you can do when you wake up each day is ask yourself, “What’s my goal for today?”

After you ask this question, sit or lie quietly until you get your answer. It usually doesn’t take long.

Your mind will spit out something like, “To make 5 sales.” Or “to run 3 miles in 21 minutes.” Or “to write 2800 words.”

And so on.

Dr. Maltz always taught that it isn’t just the long-range goals and targets that keep us creatively alive – it’s the daily goals as well.

If your mind is always focused on the top of the mountain, it’s easy to forget that where your feet are in the present – and what you’re doing in the present is important, too. It’s what leads you to the mountain peak.

One of the greatest things about having a daily goal is that it will help you to quickly develop a success consciousness – the feeling of confidence that, “Yes, I CAN win because I WIN EVERYDAY.”

When I talk about having the daily goal – I’m talking about finishing it. I’m talking about forming a goal that makes you stretch a bit – yet is still realistic. Setting a daily goal to write a 300-page book would be insane. And if you put that sort of stress on yourself, you’ll not only fail to achieve the goal – but you’ll feel like a failure, too.

Not good.

You want a track record of daily success.

At the end of each day you want to be able to look back and say, “Yes, I made it. I did it. I fulfilled the goal I set for myself.”

Looking back at what you accomplished and having a sense of gratitude, even awe for what you accomplished, is key. It builds the winner’s edge within. It increases confidence. It proves to you that you were put on this earth to succeed – not to fail. Attracting success is a state of mind; so is failure.

Put yourself on the side of the winners by asking yourself each and every day, “What’s my goal for today?”

I assure you, if you do this, your life will begin to change the very first time you do this.

In Zero Resistance Living you’ll develop even more skills that will turn your life around and keep it running on the success track. Go here and order NOW.

Why Whining is Self-Destructive

Sunday, June 7th, 2009

When I had my gym in California, I created a “No Whining Rule” so I wouldn’t have to listen to all the cry babies who weren’t willing to put 100% into what they were doing.

I printed it out, framed it and put it in the gym, where everyone could easily see it. Then I put it on a sheet of acceptable protocol and gave it to every member.

90% of the whining stopped, right then and there, simply because I let everyone know that you never succeed by whining, complaining or making excuses. Instead, you succeed by saying to yourself, if success is to be, it is UP to ME.

The result: Success rate went through the roof.

The reason I’m against whining is simple. Whenever you whine you’re giving power to circumstances and taking it away from yourself. You’re claiming that you can’t do anything because everything is outside of your control.

It isn’t. And it is amazing how your circumstances change when you stop whining and begin adopting the belief that if success is to be, it is up to me.

For every person whining about how pitiful his life and circumstances are, you can find plenty of examples of those who had it worse, yet rose to even higher levels of greatness because of the adversity.

How did the victors rise above the so-called victim status.

By focusing on a goal; by taking time to “be still.” By using your imagination creatively to plan a new way of being – and by rolling up your sleeves and doing whatever must be done to change what you have.

Where Ideas Come From

Saturday, June 6th, 2009

Many people often wonder where the so-called “creative” people get their ideas.

They’re looking for answers that are profound. There aren’t any.

Ideas are in the air at all times. You simply reach into the substance and pull one out by doing something that all young kids do in their imagination each and every day.

And that is – you “make it up.”

Yes, you may “make up” your ideas based upon things you’ve already seen and heard – or felt. Yes, you may combine one thing with another thing until you have something unique – but you still “made it up.”

And when you make things up – you do so without resistance. You simply imagine – then move.

The other day my kids were beating me with punches while I was lying on the couch. My eight and five-year kids were saying, ‘Inside Kung Fu” – then chopping me.

A minute later it was “Errrh, muscles.” And they’re flexing and strutting around.

“Where they getting this stuff,” I think.

Sure, they’ve been influenced by me – but I have never gone around our home saying “Inside Kung Fu” while throwing punches – nor have I ever flexed in front of my kids, grunted and said the word “muscles.”

Yes, there are bits and pieces of these elements at play – but most certainly NOT in the manner my kids put them together. And as soon as the ideas “popped” into their creative little minds, they moved and began expressing what they were thinking.

Becoming successful in business is much the same way.

All my successes on the Internet as well as off the Internet – were NOT a result of long-term planning, trying to get every detail right before doing anything.

They were a result of using my imagination to come up with an idea – then moving forward on the idea – and continuing to move forward on it until the idea gets completed.

And coming up with ideas isn’t hard. They’re all around us. Just look at little kids and you’ll see what I mean.

Sure, you may think it’s different with business.

But is it, really.

The Snooze Button

Friday, June 5th, 2009

Imagination and reality are separated by a fine line that pulls you from one level of experience into the other.

Take time to imagine what you want today. Run the movies in your mind and you may be surprised to see yourself acting out the very things you picture.

Before bed tonight, picture yourself getting up early to work on a specific goal, instead of seeing the old photo of yourself hitting the snooze button; or getting up tired.

See yourself excited to be getting up – instead of dreading doing so.

Don’t just tell yourself that you’re going to get up early tomorrow to do something positive – see yourself doing it.

If you’re willing – I believe you’ll understand how your imagination pulls you into reality.

Why You Must Relax Before Visualizing

Thursday, June 4th, 2009

In order to get the absolute most out of the time you spend in the Theatre of Your Mind, it is imperative that you learn to relax, physically and mentally.

Why is this.

Because a mind that is filled with stress cannot easily absorb a new idea.

The good news is that regardless of how much stress you currently feel, you can learn to relax very quickly. Regardless of how much of yesterday you are carrying into today, you can get yourself to emotionally deflate within seconds.

One of the fastest ways is to pay attention to your breathing. Watch yourself breathe. Inhale deeply. Pay attention to the air filling your lungs. Exhale deeply. Feel the old energy leaving your body.

After a few deep breaths you’ll wonder where all the mental stress went and once you get your muscles to simply ‘let go’ you’re ready to work
on improving your self-image. You’re ready to begin building the NEW YOU – the person you instinctively know you can be – the person you
really really want to be.

It is great idea to visualize for a few minutes just before lopping off to sleep. But be careful. Avoid the temptation to lie down for your Theatre of the Mind session. Sit up in bed or sit on the side of your bed with your feet on the floor. This will help you avoid falling asleep before you get to the highlights.

If you visualize before sleep your subconscious mind will work on your goals while you’re in dream state. And that’s a wonderful thing to know.

If you tend to doubt the effect that what you think about before sleep has on your next day, then consider this. Most people go to bed with a final thought of ‘I’m tired.’ Hence, they wake up tired.

The very first day you say to yourself, ‘Tomorrow I’m going to wake up feeling totally energized and refreshed.’ – you will discover that you no longer wake up feeling tired.

Try it if you don’t believe me. I dare you.

Last of all, for guidance in building a powerful, dynamic and magnetic self-image, be sure to get your hands on Dr. Maltz’ Zero Resistance Living course. It will change your life and quickly, too. Go here and order

The Worst Money Thought There Is

Monday, June 1st, 2009

If you were able to see the thoughts coming from the minds of those who have and compare them to the thoughts of the have-nots – you’d be startled at what you discover.

Suppose you could look into your crystal monitor and see the past, present and future. You could look at the thoughts the have-nots were thinking for the past year – what they have today – and where they are going to be in the future… unless the program being played is changed.

Then suppose you could do the same with those who rose from poverty or a poor financial situation into one in which prosperity is flowing their way.

If you think the thoughts of the have-nots and the haves are the same – think again. The thoughts aren’t different because the haves currently “have.” No, the haves currently “have” because of how they’ve been thinking.

FACT: The have-nots use the phrase “I can’t afford it” over and over again. They frequently say this to explain to themselves that they cannot have what they want to have.

On the other foot, the “haves” use a different COMMAND when confronted with the fact that they don’t have enough money for what they want. And this COMMAND opens the gates of heaven to them. Their desire is fulfilled because they speak two magic words that the have-nots don’t use.

Yes, the have-nots know these two words, they just don’t bother to use them whenever they want to have something. Instead, they say “we can’t afford it” or “we don’t have the money” or “our financial situation is not very good.”

One of the best “worst” phrases I ever heard was, “I’m strapped right now.”

Woooooaaaa. “I’m strapped.” Think of the mental picture this forms whenever you say this – and the feeling it creates. The person saying “I’m strapped” makes it appear as if he’s getting flogged or scourged.

Meanwhile, the person who is moving from have-not to have says the following before uttering the two magic words: “I really want to get what you have and I’m going to (blank) and (blank). I’ll get back to you soon.”

My friend, knowing and practicing these two magic words WILL catapult you to the next level of success and prosperity. Make sure you learn what these words are by finding the guts to get a copy of 101 Ways to Magnetize Money – already a best-seller; already a book that people are buying 5, 10, 30, 100 copies of and more to give to friends, family and business associates.

Make sure you get a copy to discover for yourself the POWER contained in the two magic words – as well as the other 100 mega magnetic truths being given to you.

Go here and order NOW.
